Compensation : $14.50/hour + company tip share

Job Summary : 

Proof Bread is a renowned artisanal bakery dedicated to crafting the finest handcrafted bread and pastries. We are currently seeking a part-time, weeknd Dishwasher to join our hardworking and inclusive team to grow with us! This is an entry-level position that reports to the Bakery Manager and works closely with teammates and staff at all levels of the bakery. 

The Dishwasher at Proof Bread plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The Dishwasher ensures that all dishware, utensils, equipment, and the general kitchen area meet the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. This role supports the bakery's overall operations and contributes to a safe and efficient workspace. 

Our ideal candidate understands the impact and importance of this role, and is reliable, safety-focused, community-oriented, and available to work Saturday and Sunday shifts. 

Key Responsibilities , include but are not limited to : 

• Washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment following company and health standards. 
• Ensuring all kitchen tools and equipment are stored in the proper areas. 
• Maintaining cleanliness in all kitchen areas, including floors, countertops, and storage spaces. 
• Emptying and taking out the trash and recycling throughout shifts. 
• Assisting in basic food prep duties as needed, such as washing components or portioning ingredients. 
• Assisting in receiving and organizing deliveries, including proper food storage. 
• Following all health and safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning products and equipment. 
• Supporting the kitchen staff and bakers as needed to maintain efficient operations. 

Prerequisites and Requirements :   

• Previous experience as a Dishwasher in a bakery, restaurant, or similar environment is preferred but not required. 
• Strong work ethic and reliability. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 
• A genuine curiosity, knack for observing and solving potential bottlenecks, and being helpful. 
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines in a food service environment is a plus. 
• Availability to work weekends.
